Today our trip was to the monument Ancient and eternal Bukhara  Bukhara cultural center occupies a special place in the framework of creative works.  The 107-hectare cultural center built on the initiative and idea of the President consists of large buildings - a 700-seat regional musical drama theater, an amphitheater for 2,000 spectators, and between them the "Old and Eternal Bukhara" monument.  Corridors starting from different corners of the cultural center lead to the 18-meter-high "Old and Eternal Bukhara" monument.  The monument was worked by the famous sculptor, artist of Uzbekistan Ilhom Jabbarov. When you go up through the steps of Obida, your attention will be drawn to the golden tiles around the monument.  It means that the soil of Bukhara is equal to gold.  Because Bukhara has always been a place of gold.  Original and pure gold deposits, yombs are found here.  At the same time, the monument expresses the idea that it is necessary to bow not only to

Today outlr destination was Modarikhan madrasah First, the teacher checked us, she wanted to be sure that everyone had come to the lesson. After that, she gave us information about the Abdulahan ll and about Modari-Khan Madrasah, we asked her questions and each of us told new information about this place. The weather was very good, we were able to walk freely and study history, in addition we took cool photos. Madari Khan was first built in 1566 - 1567. Modari Khan is translated as "Khan's mother", since this madrasah was built by the Uzbek Khan Abdullah Khan II in honor of his mother. The main facade of the Modari Khan of the rich is decorated with tiles of multi-colored brick mosaic that form geometric patterns. On majolica tiles there are images of butane flowers. But it should be noted that with all this, the facade decoration looks modest.

Hoja Zayniddin Mosque 29.05.2024

Today out trip was to the Lhoja Zayniddin Mosque Hoja Zayniddin Mosque (1540s-early 1550s) The Hoja Zayniddin is a mid-16th century mosque located at the junction of two side streets 300 meters southwest of the Po-i-Kalyan square within the shahr-i-darun, or "inner city". Although its interior houses the grandest dome in Bukhara, very little of substance is known about the origin of the building—both its sponsor and its architect have been lost to the mists of time. Even so, the quality of construction, its proximity to the heart of the city, and its large footprint strongly suggest it was a product of the city's ruling elite, or even of the Khan himself Like all mosques in central Asia, the mosque is organized around an east-west axis canted to the south, toward Mecca, with the qibla wall to the west. The ideal mosque is symmetrical, but the dense urban fabric of 16th century Bukhara likely necessitated a compromise, such that the angle of the building's south and w

Today  we went to Mogoki Attori mausoleum. In the centre of Bukhara to the west of the famous Lyabi Hauz square is located the oldest mosque in Bukhara – Magoki Attori – is located. Its construction in 714 is associated with the name of the Arab Sheikh, Governor of Khorasan, Qutayba Ibn Muslim – one of the first people who brought Islam to the territory of Central Asia. Even before the arrival of the Arabs to Bukhara, a bazaar was located on the site of the mosque, where before the establishment of Islam, Zoroastrian idols, medicinal herbs and spices – attoron – were sold. And in the beginning, this place was called Attoron Bazaar. There was also a cult Zoroastrian temple of the Moon.In order not to drown out the history of the area, the mosque, built on the site of the destroyed temple of the Zoroastrians, was named Magoki Attori. During its long history, the Magoki mosque suffered from several major fires and was reconstructed more than once. The last construction was carried out in

Today we have visited the place named as Turki Jandi tomb. That was the first time we have visited the mausoleum of Turki Jandi. This unrestored mausoleum lies just south of the city's main tourist zone, on the east side of Nomozgokh Street which leads eventually to the Namazgah Mosque. The exact age of the structure is uncertain  The life and career of Turki Jandi himself is something of a mystery—this author has not been able to find any reliable biographical information. Bird lovers may be interested to hear that the monument is crowned with a gigantic stork's nest, one of the few (and perhaps the only one) left in the city. Storks used to be common in Bukhara before land use changes and chemical fertilizers introduced in the Soviet era decimated their numbers from the mid-20th century onward.

Today we went to the holy place it is called Boboyi Poraduz. It was my first visit there so I really like the entrance to the tomb complex it is through an impressive brick archway with star shaped designs on the underside. Continue walking along the path which is covered in grape vines and the tomb will come into view. It is a simple portal design with persian styled archway. The familiar use of tiles with blue shades is seen above the entrance.  Boba Poraduz was a famous shoemaker and prophet, who lived in the 13th - 14th centuries. His shoes were of such high quality, that they are said to be worn by the faithful on the hajj to Mecca and still appear brand new on arrival. He was famous in Bukhara and his tomb is still a site of pilgrimage today. We visited this site by taking a bus to the Ipoteka Bank stop on Mukhammad Iqbol Street, and walking north on the narrow dirt road which runs to the right of the Jewish cemetery. Other nearby attractions include central park, a short walk
